The Challenge

The primary challenge of this project was balancing a highly functional, ergonomic workspace with a cohesive, modern aesthetic that could adapt to a variety of work styles. Concept3 needed to integrate multiple furniture systems and product lines—across workstations, private offices, collaboration zones, café, and meeting spaces—while maintaining visual consistency, supporting personalization, and maximizing comfort and productivity.

Achieving seamless integration between storage, technology, and seating within an open, welcoming environment required careful coordination of layouts, finishes, and flexibility, ensuring the space met both individual employee needs and collective collaboration goals without feeling cluttered or disconnected.

Openness, ergonomics, adaptability.

SUMA’s new office was designed to support people first—creating a workspace that balances individual focus with connection and flexibility. In collaboration with the client, C3BI developed an environment where ergonomic performance, modern aesthetics, and personalization work seamlessly together. Integrated workstation systems provide privacy without sacrificing light or openness, while thoughtfully layered furniture solutions allow employees to tailor their spaces to how they work best. The result is a bright, welcoming office that feels cohesive and intentional, supporting comfort, health, and productivity.

Flexible spaces that work together.

From workstations and private offices to collaborative zones, café, and meeting rooms, every area was unified through consistent materials and adaptable furniture systems. Height-adjustable desks, versatile storage, and integrated technology support healthy movement and long-term comfort, while collaborative seating and meeting solutions encourage connection and creativity. By blending function with clean, modern design, the space reflects SUMA’s culture and provides an adaptable workplace that can evolve with their team for years to come.

The entire C3BI team did a wonderful job on our new project. We were really impressed with their professionalism and follow through in creating the look and design we wanted. They did a fantastic job and we really appreciate them going above and beyond for us - we love our new space!
